The Story Behind Blossom Box: Why We Do What We Do

Blossom Box was never just about flowers.
It’s about the moments they carry.
The ‘I love you’s,’ the ‘I’m sorry’s,’ the ‘thinking of you’s’—
the things that are sometimes hard to say out loud.
What started as a simple idea quickly became something so much bigger.
A way to show up for our community, one arrangement at a time.
When I was younger, I was lucky enough to attend very few funerals.
But when my Papa passed in 2018, that changed.
We dressed in our best and sat quietly in a private room off to the side, watching as people came to say their goodbyes. In the middle of such a heavy, emotional day, one thing stood out to me—the flowers.
Something so simple, yet they spoke so loudly.
They showed just how loved he was.
They said the words people sometimes couldn’t find.
What I didn’t realize then was that this moment would plant a seed that would grow into something so much bigger.
That very night, I was given the opportunity to work at a local flower shop.
I showed up on my first day and quickly realized just how much work goes into caring for flowers—how much time, effort, and intention it takes to create something meaningful. But no matter the arrangement, there was always one thing in common:
Love.
Love sent from one person to another.
I worked my way into becoming a designer and was fortunate enough to attend school and earn the title of master florist. As the years passed, my love for this work only grew stronger—the ability to help people express what they feel through flowers is something truly special.
In 2024, I was blessed with the opportunity to purchase Blossom Box.
Since then, it has been such a privilege to continue growing this business and serving our community—helping people share love, comfort, celebration, and connection through flowers every single day.
Every arrangement we create is made with care, intention, and heart. Because something as simple as a vase of flowers can say so much more than people realize.
The “I’m sorry’s.”
The “I love you’s.”
The “get well soon’s,” graduations, new babies, sympathy, and even the “just because” moments.
They all have one thing in common:
They say, “I’m thinking of you.”
No matter if it’s someone’s best day, worst day, or anything in between.
